My background
As a native of Washington D.C., I've spent 30+ years exploring my artistic side. I built a graphic design and custom art business in the Metropolitan area, as well as across the United States. I hand-painted wall art and floorcloths for 100's of homes and businesses during that time, and made many friends along the way.
My latest venture is a result of trying to find everyday jewelry for myself.
That void prompted me to create what I was seeking, but could not find.
In 2012, I launched Lori Albert Designs, an easy-to-wear jewelry line that appeals to all ages. My pieces are edgy, elegant, slightly bohemian and ALWAYS understated. When I sell a piece of jewelry to a client, I hear myself saying, "That's what I would wear," so I assume I've accomplished my goal!

Semi-precious stones, exotic freshwater pearls, layers of mixed metal chains, and findings sourced from the most beautiful, exotic places in the world.
My Favorite Look:
Slightly exotic and simple. I believe that "less is more", so I combine and layer jewelry to attract attention in a subtle but noticeable way. Don't get me wrong, I have been known to load up my wrist like a gypsy!
